The Uprising of 1857 War of Independence

The Uprising of 1857 War of                                        Independence

The subcontinent had great importance in the history due to natural resources. It attracted Turks, Afghan rulers and central Asian rulers. Apart from this the Britishers also took interest in the region. They settled here as traders in the reign of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Later on, they came across the weakness of Muslims and finally they took control of whole sub-continent. The traders became the masters of the region. Muslims and Hindus joined the British government. The government made such policies which were totally antagonistic to local traditions. The policies Pushed them against Britishers. They fought war against the state.

      The British government considered “the
uprising” as revolt. They thought that local were the servants of state and they should not have fought war. The indigenous writers considered if war of independence. In their opinion, the Muslim 8! Hindu soldiers Fought for their freedom and for their legal rights from which they were neglected.

In general, if we think for a while, we will come to know about the fact that the Britishers were not local ruler rather they were foreigners who deprived their rights and it was right of both Muslim and Hindu to protect their land from foreigners. So that’s why we always consider it as war of independence.

The Britishers treated Indian bestially. They were sold as slaves in Europe. They were usedas guards. 'Iheir resources were used for London, Under these circumstances, the uprising of 1857 will be considered as war of independence because they fought for homeland and it will not be called as mutiny.

We have evidence from British history. Benjamin Dissaeli, the opposition leader of British parliament at that time, declared the uprising of 1857 was not mutiny but it was their legal right.

From the above brief discussion, we can simply say it was war of independence. Although it was joint struggle of both Muslims and Hindus,But Muslims were targeted as cause of it.

The political party of that time i.e congress
also took care of interest of Hindus. So that's why Sir Syed Ahmed Khan told Muslim not to cooperate  with congress and finally they organized their own political party named as All India Muslim League.

Diversity, the Beautiful

                             Diversity, the Beautiful

From a scientific perspective, diversity is a key-stone and core function of the entire universe. One can imagine that without diversity all around, the universe would have been a uni-worse place. Global food chain and its interdependency complexes develop a food web among all the members of plants and animals and all those which are living but they do not fall into the category of plants and animals.

Each and every family member of this global food web is an important player and is a key link or a bridging unit of its own limit and level in general or in specific terms among food chain tiers enabling each other to co-exist.

Religio-political history of the global community does not offer much of respectful experiences in its Pool. Even though several examples are attractive and appealing in all societies across the globe. One of such an example cited by Dimont Max in his work  "The Indestructible Jews" that in Medina a society emerged of "three religions and 'one bedroom", wherein "Muhammadans, Christians and Jews shared the same brilliant civilization, an intermingling that affected 'bloodlines' even more than religious affiliations".

Besides several key verses and messages on diversity in the Holy Scriptures, a representative verse from Quran quotes, ordained by God in the following way "Let there be no compulsion in religion". This human's friendly principle was practically implemented in Medina just after a decade of migration from Mecca by the Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH) in the form of a 'civil code' widely referred as the "constitution of Medina".

According to the law brought forward by the said constitution, 'all the religious and racial communities of the city will enjoy equal rights and obligations under the law and there is no superiority', the prophet pronounced, "for an Arab over a non-Arab and for a non-Arab over a Arab, nor for the white over a black nor for a black over a white except in piety".

Religions of the world in their true sense offer excellent civil society principles, democratic and humanistic ethos including respect for diversity and plurality. Encourage inter - faith dialogue, harmony and consultative processes in settlement of disputes and conflict resolution, which ultimately condemn the rootless theory "The Clash of Civilizations" by Huntington.

To promote and encourage plurality one may need remarkable ethnic and religious tolerance in the society. Where as the decline and fall of mighty Mughal Empire in India and several others across the globe through the history was largely due to disrespect and reversal of pluralist ethos.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations in 1948 is very closely lined with the "constitution of Medina" proposed and implemented by the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) except in its geographical wideness. Declaration endorses the 'religious freedom' worldwide. Regretfully, several Islamic states showed their reservations and concerns regarding its universality and Implementation. Although, Pakistan and its neighbors did not see any inconsistency between the commitment to the human rights and Islamic values.

In a contemporary global scenario, specifically in biological terms, "DIVERSITY" falls into the categoiy of 'Endangered' word functionally not only in the third world countries but even in the developed countries. It is because that the developed countries and the multinationals have not played their due role in promoting and ensuring the implementation of true democratic values neither they have encourage
enough the pluralistic norms across the global village.

One can evaluate major threats to the diversity are; exploitation of democracy by the super or semi super powers of the world, orthodoxy and secular fundamentalism, geo-political disputes, non - directional and random development, globalization led by vested-interest multinationals and biased international media.

The only way that diversity could be expressed as a strength and not weakness, if the global cornrniinity, the mighty and the poor both ends reasonably accommodate the ethno-cultural and religio-polittcal variations in their socio-cultural traditions and values'. Otherwise in a world of disrespect and disregard for diversity, one can recall this  statement by a unanimous thinker that "science, thought, humanity how to fly in the air but not how to live on earth."

Sea Buckthorn - History, uses and benefits-A marvelous shrub

Sea Buckthorn -A marvelous shrub

SEA BUCKTHORN (Hippophae Rhamnoides) is a kind of wild bush found in Northern Areas Pakistan, specially abundantly found in the Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan. I still remember chasing around the fields of "Burrie didoure" ,yes!! that's what we call them in Shina, a language spoken widely in the Ghizer District, while running after each other playfully.
In China it is famous as "Magic Plant" where more than 150 factories are producing about 200 foods, medicinal and cosmetic products on commercial scale. Since the ancient Tibetans started using sea buckthorn more than one thousand years ago, hundreds of Asians traditional recipes have been developed and carried on through generations utilizing the nutritional and medicinal properties of the berry. As attractive as they look, they seems to have a variety of uses too.

Through the long history of application as food and medicinal ingredients, sea buckthorn berry is known to be effective in treating wounds, inflammation, mucous membrane, related disorders and disease such as cough, sputum, gastric and gynecological problems and tumors. The recent researches have revealed that the use of sea buckthorn products has highly been effective to improve immunity, normalize metabolism of cholesterol, promote blood circulation by removing blood stasis, treatment of gastric ulcers, liver protection, cardiovascular diseases, anemia, aids tumor inhabiting, reduces inflammation, diminishes swelling and accelerate the generation of tissues. Being an individual who suffer from severe acne, I have also been told to use them as a facial scrubs, so all you people out there or anyone going through any skin problems, give it a try!

During the past few decades, inspired by the long traditional use and the increasing public recognition of the benefit of natural products, scientists have carried out extensive research. This has resulted in an improved understanding of the health effects and the comical composition of the berry. It is known that the berry is rich in multiple lipophilic and hydrophilic bioactive compounds such as Vitamin C and E, carotenoids, flavonoids, fatty acids, plant sterols, lignins and minerals.

According to the scientific research, the sea buckthorn fruit and leaves contain more than 200 bio-chemicals substances which are vital for human health. The perfect combination of the bioactive composition e.g. Vitamins, amino acids, flavones, serine, phosphate, amylase, alkaloids, unsaturated fatty acids, phenolic compounds, trace elements keep wonderful harmony with human requirements. The supper oxide dismutase (SOD) content is very high and for this reason sea buckthorn is called as "Miracle Plant" and as high potential for its use in medicine, health care and food products.

Happiness is Home Made

           Happiness is Home Made

Regardless of whether we live in US, Pakistan or anywhere else, family is the building block of any society and our greatest fulfilment lies there; of course, one needs to give due importance to work, but if any society works diligently every other area but neglects the family, it would be same as straightening deck chairs on the Titanic.

We all seek happiness but what most of us discover is that happiness is a home - made product. If you have a strong and effective relationship with
family member, whether living together or apart. When your family is heading in the right direction, you are better able to perform and focus at work. Thus it is supremely important that at home, with
your family, you concentrate on creating a beautiful family.

Marriage is more than a contractual
relationship it is a promise from each individual to stay true to their love at commitment while I can't tell you how to choose the right mate. I can advise you to detemuae, what your values and principals are and who might be a complementary accompanion. Happy marriages don't just happen they are created with body, mind heart and spirit no one can afford to get lazy in their relationship with their spouse. It must nurture and tended to and when it gets off the track.

One of the best ways of keeping a marriage and family effective and healthy is by living the "seven habits" these.

Renew yourself and your family by taking care of your physical, mental, social and spiritual leads don't neglect these important human needs or you'll  eventually pay the price a beautiful family culture can deteriorate unless the batteries that give its power are continually recharged.

Whichever part of the globe you live always remember it is a beautiful nation with rich histories, traditions and legacy your families are at the heart of your nation don't neglect your most precious resource. We know with great surety that living principle promises to strengthen us individually in our marriage, in our families, in our communities and places of work. A Changing Life

                     A Changing Life

What has instant communication via email, texting and social network website done to societies all over the world? What-ever it has done, there is no doubt that it has done, there is no doubt that it has radically changed them. These changes are unlike the current cult of celebrity. It seems that what teenagers most want to be famous.

Instant messages and profiles on network sites such as facebook and twitter are an alternative way of being recognized and noticed. "Hi! This is me"! They say, 'notice me, and be my friend!. In addition, World news headlines, sports result and weather report can all be texted to your mobile phone. Some office workers are spending 40% of their working on mobile phone.

It seems society is in grip of informative overload. This means the concept of seduce is disappearing. For many young people the prospect of being alone without constant electronic communication is a frightening one.
That many young people prefer to chat with online "Friend" whom they have never met and never will rather than be with real friends, their families or their own company is also a frightening prospect.

Concentrating and focus are lost and tasks are carried out merely in "performing bytes". Because of the speed with which texts are written and sent emails cause misunderstandings and pain, not just among friends, but sometimes at the highest levels of government. There have been national "RUA TXT POET" competitions which have been produced inventive and witty responses.

Now recently a murderer sent a text from his victim's phone pretending to be her after her death and was caught by the mismatch of their texting style.Handwriting tells us a great deal about the writer's character and mood. What can you tell about someone whose message is printed on a screen in uniform letters? We're certainly in the middle of a technological revolution. But as with all revolutions, only time will tell where it is leading.

Importance of 3D Printing

              Importance of 3D printing

Holding your 'suspension of disbelief' for a little longer, a pair of 3D glasses can make your movie watching experience extraordinary. Consider watching Kong - Skull Island in 3D; believe me you will find yourself on the edge of the chair by the time this giant ape appears on the screen. You would see its brooding eyes staring directly into your face.

I know there is nothing new  about these multicoloured box-like glasses. We all have tried them; they don't fascinate  us anymore! So, what's new then?
3D printing is the new craze. When techies are going gaga over 3D printed  cars, sculptures and miniatures, doctors and biologists are showing interest in printing living hearts, kidneys and brains. Now, this sounds exciting - and creepy!

This innovation means taking medical treatment to a whole new level. This promises a new kidney to a teenage girl who visits hospital twice a week for dialysis; a heart to a middle-aged man
who is sick and tired of cardio workouts, regular check-ups and pills; or maybe a brain to an old woman who desperately wants to cherish her memories lost to Alzheimer's disease.

As I am writing this on June 14, I won't bash my country. In fact, this is the right tune to talk about the advancements we have made in the field of medicine. Sarosh Madhani, a medical student at Aga Khan University, recently proposed the idea of 3D printing a live brain tissue at a health symposium. How amazing is that! For him, Grey 's Anatomy, an American TV show, became a source of inspiration. When Dr Yang- a character in the show mentioned that she wanted to print a living heart, like so many other young doctors, Saros began to think about it.

Initially, 3D technology was used to create medical equipment using silicon or collagen as ink. Then, medical students were introduced to 3D models of organs to understand human, anatomy. After that, researchers started to look into using stem cells to create living organs -just like the ones found in our body!
Scientists around the world are already busy growing ears, bones and muscles in their - petri dishes.Poor rats and monkeys have always been,
easy subjects for the scientists; millions of rats undergo surgery for research purposes - don't we hate these 'nasty' creatures? All 3D printed organs are first implanted into tlieir bodies; scientists are happy that these creatures continue to live for several months.

"Almost every brain disease could be treated if we are able to print brain tissues," Sarosh adds. Every day, thousands of people are injured  in road accidents.Even a little damage to their nerves can have long-term effects on their body. People end up losing control  over their facial muscles or their limbs; for such people, life becomes extremely painful. We know that bioprinting will revolutionizes medical treatments and that scientists are already using sophisticated laboratory machines
to print organ tissues, but we will have to wait. "Right now, research on bioprinting is in its early stages; ethical issues will have to be dealt before technology could be put to use here," Sarosh explains.

No matter how far-fetched and bizarre 3D printing sounds, it is real and scientists around the world are taking it seriously. As an aspiring neurosurgeon, Sarosh truly believes in the power of 3D technology and thinks we can make
it possible in Pakistan as well. Moral restrictions and lack of funds would surely come in their way, but in the end, everything would come down to saving lives.

Role of Gilgit in Pak Economy

ROLE OF GILGIT IN PAK ECONOMY

Gilgit is situated at the north of Pakistan. It is the hometown of beauty, various cultures and numerous languages. Gilgit region has been given many names, like Jewel of Pakistan, Asia’s wonderland and Roof of the world. It is considered to be paradise when it comes to explaining the beauty of this region.

Strategically speaking, Gilgit is one of the most important regions of Pakistan as it
borders the territory of Azad Kashmir to the south, the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the west, the Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan to the north, China to the east and northeast and the Jammu and Kashmir state of India to
the southeast. It is only 15 km away from Central Asia.

However, despite the efforts of the local government of Gilgit-Baltistan to officially become a part of Pakistan as its 5th Province, the Pakistani Government has put in little or no efforts to declare this region Pakistan’s official Province. Gilgit play a vital role in economy of
Pakistan as its mountains are full of minerals and precious stones. These are the main source of economy but unfortunately Pakistan cannot get benefit as much as it should. K2 is the second-highest mountain on Earth. It is located in the Karakoram segment of the Himalayan range, on the border between the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan and the
Taxkorgan of Xinjiang, China.

However, those who climb K2 acquire entry via Pakistan as the Chinese side is inaccessible. These mountains, historical places (Gilgit Bridge is just above the river of Gilgit and is the largest bridge on a river in the continent of Asia. Kargah Buddhar), and natural beauty attract the tourist and increase the economy of Pakistan.

According to a statistical report by Pakistan Association of Tourism, on average more than 20 thousand tourists visited Gilgit Baltistan before 9/11. According to a rough estimation, a single tourist used to spend 3 thousand dollars which roughly makes one fifty thousand PKR as that time the currency value was 50 PKR, therefore it would be a total amount of 3 million PKR, this is about the casual visits. As for as mountaineers are concerned, they spend almost 8 thousand dollars, which is doubled accordingly.

Wild animals are also found in Gilgit and to get permission to hunt this animal tourists submit a large amount of money to the government. Dry fruits are available in large scale so dry fruits are exported from this area.

Glaciers of Karakoram are source of fresh water which irrigate the arid downstream areas of Pakistan through Indus river. Gilgit play a significant role in the economy of Pakistan through tourism (due to its beauty and K2
the second highest mountain), minerals, precious stones and exports of fresh and dry fruit as well as the trade route between Pakistan and China. A lot of good
silk is available in the area at extremely inexpensive rate

The Dummy Fifth Province of Pakistan

The Dummy Fifth Province of Pakistan

Gilgit Baltistan is a northernmost territory of Pakistan. it is highly mountainous . It is the hometown of beauty, various cultures and numerous languages. Gilgit region has been given many names like Jewel of Pakistan, Asia’s wonderland and Roof of the world, whereas it is considered to be the paradise when it comes to explaining the beauty of this region.

While administratively controlled by Pakistan since the first Kashmir war, Gilgit–Baltistan has never been formally integrated into the Pakistani state and does not participate in Pakistan's constitutional political affairs. On August 29, 2009, the Gilgit–Baltistan Empowerment and Self-Governance Order 2009, was passed by the Pakistani cabinet and later signed by the President of Pakistan. The order granted self-rule to the people of Gilgit–Baltistan, by creating, among other things, an elected Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly and Gilgit-Baltistan Council. Gilgit–Baltistan thus gained de facto province-like status without constitutionally becoming part of Pakistan. Officially, Pakistan has rejected Gilgit–Baltistani calls for integration with Pakistan on the grounds that it would prejudice its international obligations with regard to the Kashmir dispute.

Considering the sacrifices and loyalty of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and considering the strategic important of the region, it should be given the status of Pakistan’s fifth province constitutionaly. It is essential that the legislators and policy makers in Pakistan resolve this issue on a priority basis, before there is a sense of deprivation in the region similar to the former East Pakistan.
In  November 1 ,1948, the Republic of Gilgit-Baltistan emerged on the map of the world and survived only for a couple of weeks. The people of the region fought their own war against the tyrannical regime of Dogra Raj and won their freedom. Because of the political circumstances that included a lack of resources, governance skills and political leadership, the victorious freedom fighters opted to accede to Pakistan unconditionally. The people of Gilgit-Baltistan have always been unequivocal in defending their association with Pakistan. Although the region is not a constitutional part of the country, it has never lagged behind any other province in terms of sacrifices for the sovereignty of the state. The people of Gilgit-Baltistan have never complained about their miseries despite having no right to cast votes, no representation in the national assembly or senate, and strong sense of deprivation many other fields where other provinces enjoy constitutional rights.

The people of gilgit baltistan are very loyal to Pakistan like In the four wars that Pakistan has fought with India, some of the best soldiers in Pakistan Army were from Gilgit-Baltistan. They fought for the country despite knowing their constitutional status. The Kargil War is also an evidence of the love of the people of the region with Pakistan. In 1999, hundreds of soldiers of the Northern Light Infantry sacrificed their lives and fought in extreme conditions to capture Kargil, Lalak Jan, who fought with extraordinary valor in Kargil and was awarded Pakistan’s highest military honor Nishan-e-Haider, was from Gilgit-Baltistan and Gilgit play a significant role in  the economy of Pakistan  through tourism (due to its beauty,K2 second highest mountain), minerals, precious stones and exports of fresh and dry fruit as well as the trade route between Pakistan and China.

It is unfortunate that 80% of Pakistanis do not even know the status of Gilgit-Baltistan, although they always speak for the rights of the people of Indian-administered Kashmir and no one talk about gilgit and it is neglected for 65 years .There were no university till 2000 and still now no medical college were found even it  have nine districts ,has a population approach one million an area of approximately 28000 miles. the least budget announced for Gilgit at every year as compared to other provinces with the passage of time people were aware their rights and protest results empowerment and self Self-Governance.

Our Education System

                  Our Education System

Education means "enlighten" or "acknowledgement". It also means the development of the whole personality. All the developed countries have an organized and we'll planned system of education which gives their students a specific aim and make them honorable and cultured citizen. This is the system of education which makes its citizen good human being by their social and ethical development that is why education system should be well organised and planned.
Firstly the great failure of our education system is that there is no clarity about the medium of education Urdu and English both the languages are intermingled with each other in our many institutions. That's why students are unable to comprehend both the languages and they remain passive they also fail to get perception and perfection in both the languages in our Schools. English is made compulsory but it is presented before students in such a way that it seems very difficult.
Further, another glaring drawback of our education system is its teachers. Teachers who are regarded as the back bone in the field of education. These are the teachers that may play significant role in making the student good humanews beings or in making them praise worthy personalities.
I would say that education system should be well organised and according to the need of the present time.

Spring is in the air

                      Spring is in the air

Spring is in the air and after the cold winter, what a welcome season it is after a cold winter, revitalising the body and mind! It is the time of new beginnings fresh buds bloom, animals that have hibernated during winter awaken and those which migrated begin to return - the earth seems to come to life again.Farmers and gardeners plant their seeds ; gardens are revamped,  cleared out and made to look as beautiful as possible;  there are flowers everywhere. It gladden the heart and soothes the mind to see so much beauty in our surrounding and makes us wish spring could last forever!
Some of the trees and bushes which are in full bloom these days are the yellow jasmine; the 'gul mahar' or 'flame of the forest' and of course the different fruit trees including the ornamental cherry most of which are full of pink, white and mauve blossoms. After the denuded look of most trees of winte, their new and splendid appearence is a joy to see dotted around green areas; in gardens and growing along the roads, while the best display is to seen near the Rawal Dam where they grow in profusion.
These days even the flowering weeds are a sight for sore eyes as their flowers grow in profusion all over intended land and open spaces - the dreaded yellow dandelion making a splash of colour with its bright yellow flowers but it becomes quite a nuisance for gardeners when it seeds, as they are blown far and wide!
Apart from the foliage, the clear sky; fluffy white clouds; forbidden kites floating in the breeze; birds chirping while they are busy building their nests; the gentle breeze all add to the chars of this sea son, so it is to be enjoyed while it lasts.
And here is some prosaic information. What most people call 'spring' relies on the astronomical definition of the word.Spring is generally considered the period between the spring equinox and the summer solstice.Defined by the angle of Earth's tilt toward the sun, astronomical spring relies on equinoxes and solstice to define it.Equinoxes are special days during the year when days and nights were almost equal. There are two equinoxes, one is the spring and in the fall. The spring or vernal, equinox occurs around March 20 in the Northern Hemisphere and around September 22 in the southern Hemisphere.

Beauty is Truth , Truth Beauty

Beauty is Truth, Truth Beauty
        "Sometimes people are beautiful.
          Not in looks.
          Not in what they say.
          Just in what they are."
An artist is the most sensitive soul who feels the agony and ecstasy of life at the core of his heart.A wrinkled face and an innocent smile; a burst of laughter and a tearful eye; an ice cold dead and a warm new born; a rose bud going to flower and petals blowing in the wind can kindle his imagination equally.Experience of world to him is experience of life.He sees, he feels and with the help of his powerful imagination creates a new world; a world of hammer and chisel and tunes and colours.Creative process is always extraordinary, something sacred, something divine.Truth and sincerity are the virtues which infuse beauty into creation. He passes through ecstatic moments of creation and is generous enough to extend aesthetics pleasure to other.Literature, sculpture, music and painting are nothing but different media through which he transports others to his world of beauty.
He gives his blood and soul to the piece of art he creates. His heart beats in his creation.A poem, a symphony, a stone cut statue, what are they if not the fragments of his own being. An artist has a strange belief in his creation.Belief as strong and as simple as one can feel his vessels pulsating; his heart throbbing.A time comes when Angelo strikes his "David", "Speak, speak why don't you speak!"
We have to see only how far an artist is true to his vision; sincere at his heart and with what beauty he present it.

At the end,I would like to express my gratitude to my Principal and teachers who, are the twilight of my studies. We are presenting an anthology of writings from the valley of chinars. All praises to the contributors and deficiencies to me.It may not be sublime but it is a sincere effort.Read it and see how far we have been true to our hearts.

Life is Never a cat walk

Life is Nevet a cat walk
Life gives us hope and courage to live.We experience both happiness and sorrows while moving ahead in life.Their are two sides of the same coin. There is no single person who has not faced any problem while climbing the ladder of success. There are both joyful and sad moments in life but that does not stop us from living life to the fullest and give a full stop to out ambition.
Everyone who has made it to the top had some exceptional qualities of fighting back and not giving into failures. There are many who give up in harsh circumstances but there are fewer who fight back and not ready to surrender themselves to the unfavourable situations. It all rests in our hand while choosing a way for moving ahead. It's correctly said,"Only those who risk going too far can probably find out how far one can go".
Things are never easy for anyone.Everyone has to face life's miseries and return back to face the world with an open heart.Life is not a cat walk.
Everyone has to strive for existence in spite of all setbacks.Every person who made it to the top had persevered day and night and had dream to succeed.Success is hard earned entity.Sometimes we think why God chose us for so many miseries but what we masses and do something great. If you do not strive for existence then:-
●Be prepared to lose the money you earn with all the hard work you do.
●Be prepared to lose your jobs to illegal immigrants.
●Be prepared to lose the ability  to send your kids to college. But also to lose your right to bear arms against enemies; foreign and domestic.
Slowly and surely without even realize it.You will "Voluntarily" give away those things that so many have fought and died for.The things taken for granted.

An Ideal Soldier

                        An Ideal Solider
The quality that distinguishes an ideal solider is love for his country. He is not one who joins the army as a mean of livelihood but one whose heart overflows with patriotic spirit.A good solider is not mere a brute but a cultured man fired with the highest love for his motherland. His love is so intense that he is prepared to offer his life gladly for the sake of his country. Can there be a more glorious and nobler sacrifice?
Another great quality of an ideal soldier is his courage.A soldier is not a soldier if he is not courageous. He is courageous by temperament and his training as a soldier and experience strengthens that quality in him. There are some men, who are not familiar with meaning of fear which helps them again to face danger or death courageously.A good soldier has mental courage, bravery of his mind and also physical courage.
As Tennyson in his poem "The Change of the Light Brigade" says, "There is not to question why theirs but to do and die".
The life of a soldier is a noble life.He has the opportunity of making the highest kind of sacrifice by laying down his life for his country. One who does this is a true and loyal son of the motherland.

Report on the incident during school Theatre Outing

The incident during School Theatre                                      Outing
Last Friday on March 10th 2012, I was with my class travelling on the school bus from Abbottabad to Lahore. We were going to the theatre to see 'Macbeth' by William Shakespeare, which we are studing for our exam.It was a very hot day and we had been travelling for more than 3 hours when the driver stopped by the roadside where there were many stallholders selling snacks and drinka. Mr.Yash gave us permission to buy what we wanted and return to the bus in five minutes.
Some boys shared their money with those who did not have any, but nobody shared with Ali.I saw him join a crowd of boys around one stall and take one of the bottles of cola and run back to the bus.The stallholder saw that Ali had taken it without paying and when the other boys had bought their drinks he ran to the bus to demand payment. But that time,Mr Yash had told the bus driver to set off, and the stallholder banged on the window , claiming that one boy had not paid him.Mr.Yash asked us all if we had paid for our drinks and we all including Ali, swore that we had.Mr Yash then told the man that his accusation was false because all the boys had paid. Our bus then left the stallholder behind shouting and looking very angry.

Farewell Speech - Saying goodbye to Friends

                     Good Bye Speech
Every beginning has an end.And every end is a new beginning. It's a relentless cycle seen in every aspect of our lives. The college life is no exception.
A year starts; a year ends, only  to give birth another.
As much as I anticipate the start of a new year,I know that fate says it will case. The weeks pass and I engulf myself in all things football: watching games, reading articles, and debating. But,somewhere in the back of my mind, I know that as every week passes the end draws near.
This past weekend and the weekend upcoming marks for most colleges a tradition simply know as Farewell for seniors, a day set aside to honor those who are here to have there last moments with us as our old second year batch or most probably the senior batch.
 Bitter-sweet to say the least.
For four or five years these young men have put their heart and soul into curricular and Co curricular activities so that they could get good grades and add another feat to our college.
Let's not forget the time spent in class to fulfill their academic requirements the lectures, the exams, the labs and the study groups.
No, it hasn't been easy, but it has been worth every minute.
They've laughed; they've  cried; they've leaped; they've fallen down ; they've felt the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.
And I would like to share with you some inspirational lines well said by Swami Vivek Anand:
"Take up one idea.Make that one idea life, think of it, dream of it,live on that idea.Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success."
There time in our prestigious institution come to an end, We've spent hours with then, and they don't even know our names.Someway, somehow, we've bonded with these senior students and it's as hard to see them go as it is for them to say goodbye.
In the end I would like to conclude by bestowing upon you the wisdom of Einstein's words and I quote:
"Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value".

Write about a situation or experience that demonstrates your best characteristic or quality.

Write about a situation or experience that demonstrates your best characteristic or quality.

It was 10th May 2016.Our teacher walked into the class and announced,"today I am going to show you your checked exam papers."My heart was trembling furiously. As the paper was handed over to me , I opened it with shivering hands."100 out of 100 marks,"read the heading in red ink. However, this feat was not a source of relief.
My thoughts traced back towards the day of 3rd April 2016, five days before the commencement of our annual exams. The last period ended and the sound of the college bell pierced through my ears.As usual ,i packed up my bag and headed for my home.As I was moving through the parking area ,Mr Imran our mathematics teacher, stormed past me carrying a heap of files. As he sat in his car,he accodently dropped a page on the floor.I tried to inform him but he rushed his car out of the college.
I picked up the page and took it to my house I placed it on the living room table and gave a sweeping glance at its heading.A shock of disbelief went down my spine. It was a copy of our upcoming mathematics exam.Wild thoughts started roaming through my mind."This page could prove to be a ticked to my success",I thought. However,a part of me believed that using the page would not be the right thing to do.
Nevertheless, I used that page to prepare for my exam.On exam day,as I expected,I comfortably sailed through all the questions and the exam proved to be a breeze.
But now,as I held my paper before my eyes,a surge of guilt swept through me.I felt that I did not deserve those marks. So with quivering feet,I walked over to Mr.Imran's desk.I held back my fear, took a deep breath and told the truth to Mr.Imran.
He stared at me with a peculiar expression.Whether it was anger disbelief or both I was unable to understand. But I knew that he was upset."You know that I will have to fail you after this",he murmered."Yes Sir,but it will be better than living with the guilt of cheating",I replied.Mr.Imran sighed and wrote a large 'F' over my paper. The ground slipped away from beneath me.As Mr.Imran left, he palted at my back and whispered,"You did well,Son".His words relieved my sorrow and I was delighted that I had spoken the truth.
